We kick off our DOTA fest with the first in a series of league qualifiers. Top 3 teams qualify for DA* League 2019. Final date announced after completion of last qualifier.
ALL MATCHES OF THIS TOURNAMENT IS PLAYED ONLINE. ALL MATCH SCHEDULES ARE IN DHAKA LOCAL TIME.
All teams register online. Upon approval team captains are notified via email. An announcement will also be made on our website, along with social media. Champions along with 2nd and 3rd place auto qualify for DA* League 2019 announced early next year with a Grand Prize of TK 1'00'000/- (1 Lac).
If your team is not accepted in this tournament we will try to pre register your team for the next qualifier (DGL Faceoff 6). We will contact the team captain with more information.

DGL face off 5 - DA * League 2019 - qualifiers.
Top 3 teams qualify for DA * League 2019
League final date announced after completion of last qualifier.
The hiatus is over, we are back, with our next tournament. DGL face off 5. Online registration at dglcore.com/faceoff5.
This time a few things have changed. We are no longer doing LAN tournaments. Also, this year Faceoff 5 is the first official qualifier for DA* League 2019 held later this year, to crown the the national DOTA2 champion and win the grand prize of TK 1,00,000/- (1 Lakh). Check out our post about the league for more information.

Rules & Regulations
RULES AND REGULATIONS
A. Eligibility
- EVERY PARTICIPANT MUST READ THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS AND AGREE TO THEM. Participation indicates that they agree to these rules and regulations.
- Registration is open to all Bangladeshi (BD) DOTA2 teams. A team is considered a BD team if 50% or more of the players in the team roster are of Bangladeshi nationality. There is no restriction on the number of BD players from a team that have to play any particular match. Players under 18 years of age are expected to have their parent's/guardian's consent.
- You must have a valid steam account which is registered on DGL with an official copy of DOTA2 installed with both (steam and dota2) upgraded to the latest patch/version.
- You must also have a valid discord account registered on DGL and have Discord installed on your computer, along with audio input/output support - that means a microphone you can speak to and headphones/speakers that you can listen in on.
- You must join our discord channel.
B. Registration
- REGISTRATION PROCESS - Teams must choose a captain and the captain must register the team through our tournament registration page on our website. ONLY THE CAPTAIN REGISTERS THE TEAM. Teammates will be given a notification ONCE to join the team. Teammates should check their email address or their settings page on DGL to check for tournament invitations from their team captain. After enough teammates join the team a DGL admin will approve the team and the captain will be sent a confirmation email.
- REGISTRATION WINDOW - All teams must register online after registration begins on 10 September 2018 11:01AM and before the REGISTRATION DEADLINE on 1 October 2018 10:00AM in order to receive an invitation to the tournament.
- REGISTRATION FEE - There are NO REGISTRATION FEES for teams that have NO SPONSORS. For teams with SPONSORS, you may or may not be charged a registration fee. See section G on sponsors for more information.
- TEAM LOGO - It is required that a team logo is uploaded with the form. See section on TEAM LOGOS for more information.
- OFFENSIVE SYMBOLISM - DGL does not tolerate any sort of offensive language or other sort of displays. Any team that is found to be guilty of such during the tournament maybe disqualified. This is applies but is not limited to, in-game chat, clan names, player names, sponsor names, clan logo.
B. Team Roster
- A TEAM ROSTER is the official list players (including Subs) provided to DGL by teams during registration.
- ROSTER CONSTRAINTS - Your team must have a minimum of FIVE and may have up to SEVEN players on their roster (5-7 players). A Player may only be on ONE(1) Roster and cannot change during the tournament.
- ROSTER STABILITY is crucial. DGL is looking for serious clans. The same group of players (if qualified) is expected to compete in the upcoming season of the DA* League. Requests for any changes in the roster is only entertained by DGL after the currently running tournament. Requests should be made by the team captain by the registered email on the site. Requests are sent to admin@dglcore.com.
- TEAM CAPTAIN - One Player on your team roster is appointed as team captain. All primary communication from DGL to you is through your team captain. The team cannot change their team captain in the middle of the tournament. A player remains the team captain even when not playing a match.
- NO SHOWS - If a team pulls out from a tournament/match without providing acceptable cause as decided by DGL. Team is disqualified all players in the team roster are BANNED from DGL.
C. Game and Schedule Information.
- The schedule for matches will be announced on 2 October 2018.
- The schedule is fixed as released unless announced otherwise by DGL. We are not able to entertain individual requests for rescheduling, but reasons affecting the the gaming community as a whole may be entertained. Start the conversation on our discord channel.
- All games in the schedule are held on Friday and Saturday all day, and Sunday nights.
- Match Schedules are posted on DGL. You should check your chekin times in the settings page to make sure you don't miss any match.
- Any concerns about tournament time should brought to the attention of DGL via email admin@dglcore.com BEFORE the announcement of the schedule, to be considered. Once again, only issues affect all/most people.
- Players should check-in to our website before the checkin time ends. Failure to do so may result in penalties for their team.
- Players must join our discord server after registering for tournament. After checkin this is where players can find their match referee who will assign them their voice channel and provide them with further instructions.
- Please follow your match referee's instructions at all times during the game.
- Pausing - Any team member may pause the game at any time, but only the match referee may resume.
- In the event that a team has only 4 players present they may choose to play their match 4v5 until their teammates arrive for the next game.
- A team must forfeit their match/game if they have less than four players present. Unless 4 players are checked in on time the match is auto forfeited. In the event that both teams have less than 4 players checked in, the match is recorded as a draw.
D. Tournament Format
- DOUBLE ELIMINATION - Best of 3 in Winner Bracket. Single match in loser bracket.
- FINALS is played between winners of both brackets.
- The finals is a best of 5 with 1 game advantage to winner bracket champions.
- Champions, runners-up, third-place qualify for D.A - Star League 2019.
E. Disconnections
- If there is a disconnection during the first 5 mins of a match then we 'remake' the match. If a player cannot connect then substitute player who has already checked in should fill in said players spot. There is no waiting and both teams must communicate with the match referee to restart the match as soon as possible with substitutes, if required. All following rules in this section apply after this first rule.
- The first time a player disconnects, their team gets upto a 5 minute pause so that the player may join back into the game. (3 minutes for the second time and 1 for the third).
- Upon the 4th time there will be no more pauses and game will continue, the disconnected player is welcome to join back at any time while the game is still running.
- There shall be no substitutions in the middle of a game.
- In any event team captains must contact teammates immediately during a disconnection and update the match referee regarding the situation. The match referee will decide how to proceed.
F. Team Logos
- All teams are required to upload a team logo for their team.
- Two sizes for the team logo need to be uploaded. 300px X 300px and 50px X 50px. The smaller image can be a different, more simplistic version of the original logo that looks better on smaller displays. This is not mandatory and you may simply upload a scaled down version of the 300px logo.
- Logo files sizes must be less than 200KB.
- Logos must be valid JPEG/JPG or PNG files with PNG files preferred because of their background transparency.
G. Sponsors
- Sponsors for participating teams are allowed with restrictions depending on sponsorship objectives.
- Teams that do not have sponsors are exempt from paying the entry fees for the tournament.
- A team that is sponsored, but no sponsor branding appears on any content in the tournament generated by the team is also exempt from the entry fees. Such content includes but is not limited to, sponsor word marks in team name and team/clan tags, sponsor logo/word marks in team logos, mention in in-game chat etc. 4, A team that is sponsored and wish to display sponsor branding, please contact us in advance before registering as your sponsor is responsible for paying your registration fees for this tournament.
- Any team that violates any rules in this section is instantly disqualified upon discovery and banned from future tournaments.
